Colombo, October 30th 2024— In an exciting new collaboration, Coca-Cola Sri Lanka is bringing fans of the Marvel Universe closer to their favorite heroes with the launch of exclusive, limited-edition bottles featuring beloved Marvel characters. As part of the global Coca-Cola x Marvel campaign, this initiative celebrates Sri Lanka’s Marvel fans, combining the magic of Marvel with Coca-Cola’s refreshing uplift in every moment.

The campaign’s essence revolves around real human connections and the emotional power that Marvel’s characters bring to everyday life, especially relevant for 2024. With characters like Loki, Deadpool, Wolverine, Daredevil and Nick Fury gracing Coca-Cola’s 250ml, 400ml, and 2L packs, fans can now scan QR codes on these specially designed bottles to unlock an immersive Augmented Reality (AR) experience, accessible through Coca-Cola’s website.

Marvel fans, whether at home or out of home, can enjoy the “Uplift in Every Slump Moment”—a key message that underscores Coca-Cola’s support in moments when fans need an extra boost. The bottles dramatize these moments through engaging AR, transforming the everyday into something truly magical.

The campaign kicks off with a compelling new TV commercial, where a woman accidentally plunges the entire Marvel Universe into chaos. However, the real magic of Coca-Cola steps in, uniting the world’s mightiest heroes to save the day in a thrilling display of action and refreshment. This marks a unique moment in the history of both brands—Marvel, which has captivated millions for nearly 85 years with its diverse characters and timeless stories, and Coca-Cola, which has been at the forefront of innovative consumer experiences for over six decades in Sri Lanka.
