The Japanese delegation, brought together under the initiative of Dr. Ruwan Perera and Little Japan, began its journey across Sri Lanka with visits to the sacred sites of Mihintale and Anuradhapura, including the historic Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya, among other key locations, immersing themselves in the island’s rich Buddhist heritage. The group then travelled onward to Habarana, marking the start of a cultural exploration that continues to strengthen the growing bond between Japan and Sri Lanka.
