This International Women’s Day 2026, Samsung Sri Lanka proudly celebrates the strength, resilience, and leadership of women across its organisation under the global theme, “Give to Gain.” The theme reflects a powerful belief: when women invest in one another through knowledge, mentorship, and opportunity, collective growth follows.

Across divisions, women at Samsung Sri Lanka continue to shape innovation, drive customer excellence, and strengthen business operations. Their stories highlight how giving support, guidance, and dedication not only uplifts others but also fuels personal and professional advancement.

“At Samsung Sri Lanka, we believe that empowering women is essential to building a stronger, more innovative organisation. This year’s theme, ‘Give to Gain,’ reflects a principle that is deeply embedded in our culture – when we invest in people, share knowledge, and create opportunities for one another, everyone grows together”, said Mr. SangHwa Song, Managing Director at Samsung Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Human Resources Division
Representing the HR division, Wishwani Ayodhya, Assistant Manager- Business HR shared: “‘Give to Gain’ perfectly captures the spirit of people development. In HR, we give our time and commitment to building a supportive culture, and in return we witness individuals thrive. Samsung Sri Lanka has trusted me with meaningful responsibilities that allow me to shape policies, support talent, and contribute to organisational growth. That trust has helped me develop strategic and leadership capabilities. I encourage women to mentor generously and advocate for one another. When we invest in each other’s potential, the returns are limitless.”

Assistant Manager, Ruth Anthony from the Customer Satisfaction division shared: “To me, ‘Give to Gain’ means that when we dedicate ourselves to serving customers with empathy and excellence, we build trust that comes back to us in the form of growth and confidence. At Samsung Sri Lanka, I’ve been empowered to take initiative, lead problem-solving efforts, and continuously improve service standards. In return, I’ve gained leadership skills and a stronger sense of purpose. My message to women is simple: when we share our experiences and support each other, we create a network of strength that helps us all move forward.”
